Discover the unique landscapes of São Miguel on a tour that combines volcanic wonders, local traditions and relaxation surrounded by nature. It’s the perfect way to explore some of the most iconic places in the Azores.

The journey begins along the south coast, passing through the picturesque village of Lagoa and the scenic Caloura viewpoint, offering beautiful views of the ocean.

The first stop is Vila Franca do Campo, the island’s former capital, where you will have time for a short walk and a coffee break. The tour then continues to the remarkable Furnas Valley, one of the most fascinating areas on the island.

Here, you will visit Furnas Lake, see geothermal springs and the traditional spots where meals are cooked underground using volcanic heat. It’s a unique opportunity to experience how nature and local cuisine come together.

After lunch, you will visit the famous Terra Nostra Botanical Garden, where you can admire exotic plants and optionally enjoy a swim in a natural thermal pool.

The route then continues to the north coast, with a stop at a tea plantation, one of the few in Europe. You will also stop at the Santa Iria viewpoint, offering spectacular coastal views.

Finally, you will return to Ponta Delgada, ending a day full of diverse experiences.
