Departure to the historic Cachoeira town, that is part of the Baroque anthology of the country and preserved alleys and houses of the 17th century. Along the "Paraguaçu" river and at the foot of the hills, this is at the heart of "Recôncavo", an agricultural region that played a predominant role in the history of Brazil because it was one of the first regions to be colonized and then exploited by the Portuguese. We cross centuries-old sugar cane, cassava and tobacco plantations to reach Cachoeira.
On the way, we will stop at the friendly and welcoming village of "Santo Amaro" to taste seasonal tropical fruits at the popular open-air fair and visit and visit Our Lady of Purification Church. Walking tour around Cachoeira with your guide to see the well preserved cobbled streets, beautiful old houses and churches reflect a brilliant past. Lunch at a farm. Next we will cross the "Paraguaçu" river to visit an artesanal cigar factory (at São Felix village). Return to hotels.
