Program Description

The tour starts with a hotel transfer. The first stop is at a traditional Cypriot cafe, Kafenion. Moving along the route, enjoy the sight of snow-covered peaks in the eastern Troodos mountains. A hidden mountain lagoon is the next point, observed from a distance. Following this, a walk through the tiny village of Fikardou, a UNESCO-listed site now functioning as a living museum, is scheduled, as no one resides there anymore. Free time is available for a walk or lunch at a traditional Cypriot taverna for interested participants. Subsequently, a visit to the monastery, hanging on mountain cliffs, is on the agenda. A brief walk through its serene grounds allows for panoramic views and photo opportunities. The tour's final destination is the charming Cypriot village of Lefkara, officially recognized as one of the ten most beautiful villages in Europe. Here, you can explore some of the island's hidden treasures or relax in a cafe. There will be free time to appreciate the architecture before concluding the tour with a return to the hotels.
