Program Description

Kuala Lumpur is a city best experienced both by day and after dark, where modern landmarks blend with cultural heritage and vibrant city life. This two-day tour lets you explore its highlights at a relaxed pace, combining sightseeing with an evening atmosphere and nearby natural wonders.

Your journey begins with a transfer to the airport in Langkawi and a flight to Kuala Lumpur. Upon arrival, you will meet your guide and head straight into the city to start exploring.

The tour includes the most important landmarks of the capital – you will see the Royal Palace (photo stop), the National Mosque, and the historic Sultan Abdul Samad Building, a symbol of Kuala Lumpur’s colonial past. You will then visit lively Chinatown, followed by two remarkable temples: the richly decorated Sri Mahamariamman Temple and the impressive Thean Hou Temple, one of the largest Chinese temples in Malaysia.

In the evening, you will enjoy dinner at the Bijan Restaurant, known for its refined Malaysian cuisine. After dinner, you will visit the illuminated Saloma Bridge, offering a striking view of the Petronas Towers in the background.

The next day begins with breakfast at your hotel. Afterwards, you will visit the famous Batu Caves, one of Malaysia’s most important Hindu sites. You will climb 272 colourful steps leading to the Temple Cave, home to a shrine dedicated to Lord Murugan, and admire the towering golden statue at the entrance.

The programme also includes a visit to a batik workshop, where you will learn about the traditional wax-resist dyeing technique used to create intricate patterns.

Before departure, you will stop at Central Market, a great place to browse local handicrafts and souvenirs. Afterwards, you will transfer to the airport for your flight back to Langkawi, where you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

The order of visits and the programme may change.
