Continue to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, one of Chiang Mai's most important temples. Climb the 306-step staircase to reach the temple complex, where you can see golden pagodas and Buddha statues while taking in panoramic views across the city. Weather permitting, you may also see the temple and surrounding landscape illuminated by the setting sun.
